Imagine No Malaria
Every 45 seconds a child in Africa dies
from malaria. To learn more about saving lives go to:
www.imaginenomalaria.org. Albright UMC has made a pledge of $3,000
to the Imagine No Malaria mission. We have an aggressive goal to raise these
funds by the end of May, so your help is needed!
Upcoming Events for IMN at Albright
February 5, 12:00 p.m. - BBQ
Lunch All proceeds of the BBQ lunch will go to
the Imagine No Malaria mission. Join us for lunch for only $5 for adults and
$3 for children.
February 12, 9:45-10:45 a.m. -
Learn More About Imagine No Malaria through a one-session, one-hour bible
study. An adult study and children's study will be offered. We look forward
to seeing you!
March, Silent Service Auction
(more details to come) What are your gifts? How can you share them with
others? This will be your opportunity to share the gifts you have been
given and also support Imagine No Malaria
Members of Albright United Methodist church spent a week in
mission at the Midwest Mission Distribution Center near Springfield, Illinois. The Distribution Center has many projects to provide food, medicine, flood buckets and other supplies to victims of disaster and needy people around the world.

Past Mission Projects

Other Kingdom Building Partners Albright seeks to support the mission work done through various agencies, among them, UMCOR, the United Methodist Committee on Relief 
Operation Classroom provides scholarships and materials for schools and students in Liberia and Sierra Leone. Secondary, vocational and medical training needs are supported by this vital ministry. 
Emma Norton Services is a program for women and families who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. They are provided secure, affordable and supportive services in a Christian environment. 
Closer to home, The Kitchen Table Food Shelf right here in Marshall provides food to the hungry. In 2006 alone over 10,000 people were served. 
House of Hope is a Christian home for hurting teens right here in Marshall. It offers hope, forgiveness and healing through God's grace.
